Widening the roads is only a small part of the solution, we also need bring strict rules to stop the shop owners from encroaching the pavements again also i would like to add that autos should be restricted entrance into main road and another thing that might help is if can have the speed locked on these Autos to 30kmph.

The main road widening in Kakinada is necessary to implement. The property owners of either side of the road should come forward and co-operate the authorities in the road widening work in the interest of the public at large instead of causing obstructions. .....aejazuddin.

Kakinada this is not the only solution. 1. Need one more fly over at ramarao pet rail gate and direct connect with wide road to ADBI road. 2. Road widen the road from Aditya junior college Engg college back side siddardha nagar Vydyanagar road n connect to adbi road. these two actions will solve the traffic problems for the immediate next few years in kakinada.

Road widening is one of the options. Education of the vehicls on road safety and traffic rules by the RTO and the traffic police is very important. Many autorikshaw drivers and the two-wheeler drivers do not even know what the traffic signals signify. M Prabhakara Rao, Imprints Cocanada.com

Of-course, it is one solution, but it is not completely effect to control traffic in the city...because nowadays every individual having their own vehicles, and most of them not following traffic rules, Traffic police should do programs to create awareness about traffic & vehicles usage on public, then only the traffic will be controlled, i think @Kusuma
